Experience
I graduated from Rollins College and the University of Central Florida. My BA is in Psychology and my master's is in Exceptional Student Education K-12. This comes with an ESOL endorsement. After I left Rollins, I buried myself in learning as much about the education field as I could, and I have tried to amass all the experience possible. I served my internship at an autistic students' facility and I helped individual students reach for their highest potential. I then worked at a charter school as a paraprofessional educator for autistic students. I taught at the school in that capacity for three years until I moved to my present position as a teacher for those with Intellectual Disabilities (InD) in a middle school. I love my job and expanded into tutoring. I have a number of students who have difficulties because they haven't been properly taught the core skills they need in mathematics and reading. I do my best to strengthen those skills and help my pupils realize their capabilities.I teach Elementary and Middle School Math, Reading, Writing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, Special Education, ISEE prep, Phonics, Math, English, and Social Studies.I enjoy being active. I like working out at the gym, swimming, and even going for long walks around the neighborhood.
